One of the biggest tournaments in the world of Ultimate Frisbee : the World Under24 Ultimate Championships (WU24), organized by the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF). This tournament takes place every 2 years at different locations. The 2019 edition was held in Heidelberg, Germany.

In this small historical village of Germany were held 8 days of games (July 13 to July 20, 2020), spread over almost twenty fields. Players under 24 years old from all over the world came to represent their countries. A total of 29 nations competed for medals in 3 different categories (Men, Women, Mixed).
The opening ceremony brings together all the teams on the first day. Participants proudly wave their country's flag as each team is called and introduced one after the other. A presentation match and entertainment followed. It's a day of excitement, anticipation and friendly encounters.
The following days are filled with games leading each team to a position in the standings. The intensity of the game shows the desire to win.
The last days are decisive. Who will have the chance to participate in the finals?

You read correctly, the United States won all 3 gold medals! However, these were not easy victories...
Unfortunately, the 2021 edition that was supposed to be held in Ireland has been cancelled. Let's hope that the situation will be better for the 2023 edition!
